On March 6, a group of journalists will ride a train under Copenhagen along a new metro line called Cityringen. Once it opens to the public in the coming months, the line that encircles the heart of the Danish capital will be able to transport 240,000 passengers a day (72 million per year), covering a distance of 15.5 kilometres. It will help reduce the city’s harmful gas emissions by encouraging more people to use public transport, making it easier for Copenhagen to achieve its goal of becoming the world's first carbon-neutral capital by 2025.
