This is just one of the many benefits of "climate-resilient" infrastructures that on the one hand reduce the effects caused by climate change and on the other mitigate their negative impact on people's lives. Projects creating sustainable mobility for cities, clean energy, water resource management will attract the bulk of the $90 trillion needed for infrastructure development over the next 10 years according to the study "The New Climate Economy," commissioned by the "Global Commission on the Economy and Climate." The study calls on governments, private companies and banks that support the growth of developing countries to promote infrastructure works for sustainable development.
