Building in Midair
Every great building is born twice. First, in the vision of those who imagine and design it. Then, in the hands of those who construct it, sometimes while working high above the ground. The new Eni Headquarters in Milan brings these two dimensions together: creativity and expertise, design and execution. Its flowing forms and expansive glass façades shape a contemporary skyline that reflects the transformation of Metanopoli, the City of Energy envisioned by Enrico Mattei, now reinterpreted through architecture focused on innovation, efficiency and sustainability. Behind the elegance of its lines and the apparent lightness of the complex lie thousands of hours of work, construction precision and perfect coordination between design and execution. Because the most ambitious architecture is not the kind that defies gravity, but the kind that makes us forget it.
